Steps Ahead… has access to international information from realized M&A (Merging & Acquisition) transactions. This information is updated on a regular basis and can be used as a guideline for valuation purposes.
We recognized over the years that many owners of small and mid sized companies have an unrealistic perception of the value of the company. During the actual selling process this can be a disadvantage. For this reason Steps Ahead... publishes the actual transaction values of companies to show what the M&A market is all about at the moment.
Ofcourse we understand that the showed information is only a guideline (but based on actual transaction values) and a subset of the detailed information available.
The presented diagrams show:
- factors for Small and Mid sized corporations ( turnover < 50 mln. Euro )
- factors on EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) and Turnover
- factors from january 2010 (please feel free to ask for actual market information).
